Notes for Slide 05
As for our choice of using slides and notes,
we aim to present a lot of material in a short
amount of time. Many paragraphs of information
might be valuable for those wanting to read a
book. Learning how to program, however, is often
an exercises in learning from diagrams and examples.

Slides are somewhat easier than book text for
designing visual explanations of topics.

Also, for those of you who already know a fair amount
of programming, a quick scan through the slides will
help you determine which steps are more important
for you to concentrate on and which steps you might
be able to skip to the questions and labs.
